Something new...

Well I'm getting ready to embark on another adventure...so it felt right to start a new blog. (That and I can't get into my old one!!) Tomorrow I start my journey to Haiti to help with post earthquake relief. People keep asking me if I'm nervous and so far it's a big "No," but still plenty of time for that to change. (although saying goodbye to my niece and nephew was hard...my nephew didn't want to let go of me.) I know that I have no idea what to truly expect so until I see it for myself there is no way to even imagine what I will see and experience. We leave Indy tomorrow and will go through Atlanta enroute to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. It will be my first time there so that is a little exciting. We will spend at least part of the night there then charter a bus to Port-au-Prince. I am sad that Dianne and the kids won't be there...I will really miss them, but glad they are safe in the U.S. That's all I know for now, but will try to update as the internet in Haiti allows. Thanks to all those who donated supplies, money and for the many prayers that have gone up for our team.
